Toronto\u2019s iconic Bob Marley Birthday Tribute returns for its 20th anniversary<\/strong>, celebrating the enduring legacy of the King of Reggae, Jamaican culture, and the city\u2019s vibrant reggae community. Taking place on Saturday, February 7, 2026<\/strong>, at Lee\u2019s Palace<\/strong> (529 Bloor St. W.), the event runs from 8:00 PM until late<\/strong> and promises a powerful night of music, culture, and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toronto\u2019s longest-running Bob Marley tribute, this annual celebration brings together top-tier local reggae talent and selectors for an immersive, high-energy experience. The 20th anniversary edition features a live performance <\/strong>by 11 pc band Reggaddiction<\/a><\/strong>, with guest performances by Friendlyness<\/a> (of The Human Rights<\/a> band)<\/strong> and Juno Award\u2013winning artist Kairo McLean<\/a><\/strong>, alongside special guest appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pressure Drop and Bless Up Selectas<\/strong> on the earth-shaking 15,000-watt Bless Up Soundsystem<\/strong>, with hosting duties by Kwasi \u201cDa Food God\u201d Douglas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the music, the event continues its long-standing tradition of giving back to the community. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations in support of the Parkdale Community Food Bank<\/a><\/strong>. The evening will also feature prize giveaways<\/strong> and a vibrant craft market<\/strong>, further reinforcing the event\u2019s community-focused spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past two decades, this event has proudly showcased an incredible roster of Toronto reggae talent, including Kairo McLean, Kirk Diamond, Humble, Treson, The Resinators (ft. Raffa Dean), Dream Band, The Human Rights, Messenjah, Kidd Rasta & The Peace Makers, Feeling the One Drop, Chronicles Dub Trio, House of David Gang, Ammoye, Elaine \u201cLil Bit\u201d Shepherd, Lyndon John X, Chester Miller, Michael Garrick, Papa Levy, RaLion, Carol Brown, Progress, and many more\u2014along with leading DJs such as DJ Shai, DJ Quesquecest, DJ Chocolate, Big Toes HiFi, Patrick Roots, Pressure Drop, DJ Friendlyness, Mista Jiggz, and No Wahala DJs.

This event has been built with a clear focus on uplifting and spotlighting Toronto\u2019s downtown reggae community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
